March Currently

March 1, 2014 by Krista 10 Comments

March has begun and it is time to link up with Farley at Oh Boy!  4th Grade for March Currently!  So, here is mine:

Most of them are self explanatory.  My son’s laugh is contagious and makes me giggle every time I hear it!

While my daughter had a basketball party today and softball practice tomorrow, we have no real plans this weekend.  This is the last weekend it will be like this for the foreseeable future, so we are enjoying every minute of it!  I have finished a few projects, so I am ready to prepare some new ones!

I have several ideas, so I just need to choose which ones I’m going to go with.

This week has been awful, but is on the up swing!  However, our landlord is refusing to provide us with heat.  Unfortunately, our relationship with them has now gone sour and I had conflict!  Since they live next door, we are pretty sure we are going to have to move.  I HATE moving!  But, I want us to be in a safe, warm place to live.

And, for the last one, YOU get to guess the question!  The answer is “one of my 5th grade students.”  What is it?  Can’t wait to see your thoughts!

Don’t you just love a weekend with no plans? I’m sorry you’re having landlord issues–that is the worst! One of your 5th grade students…could that be someone you ran into today? My mind is reeling at what it could be! You guessed mine correctly, by the way! 🙂

It really is the worst! Not somebody I ran into, but that is a good guess! 🙂

Maybe it is…What is driving me crazy? We had a quiet weekend too! Gearing up for lots of events coming up!

Haha! Actually, my son is in 5th grade now and although he was making me giggle while listening to him laugh, he did drive me crazy today! (Rainy day…nowhere to go!). But, no, that is not it!

Gotta love a weekend with no plans!! I’m guessing yours might be someone else who is moving?? I had one of my little kinders up and move this week with no warning. It’s so sad to see that happen and doesn’t give the kiddos much closure.

Fortunately, not somebody who is moving. Good guess, though! We have already decided wherever we move, the kids will NOT change schools! Too hard on them!

Hmmm…maybe it was the last person who gave you a hug? That was cheesy, I know, but it was the first thing that popped into my head! 🙂

That would have been a great one, but no, not the last person to give me a hug. 🙂

I’m going to move again this summer. It is a pain in the you know what!! Best of luck with your new landlord, hopefully they’ll be better!

Okay, I won’t make you wait any longer….the question was, “Who introduced you to your husband?” That is right! I got set up to date my husband by a 5th grader in my class many years ago (she is actually a teacher herself now!). Her mom was dating my husband’s dad at the time and she wanted me to be in her family (that was when I was young and “cool” so she gave him one of our hideous….I mean wonderful school pictures and my phone number. And, you want to hear something crazy? He called me and asked me out! Want to hear something even crazier? I said yes! (Sorry, my head runs through Frozen at all times now that we have purchased the movie!). And the rest, as they say, is history! We will have been married 11 years this April. 🙂
