Lapbooks are wonderful educational tools that allow the students to gather products from a unit of study in one location to help them synthesize their learning. They can be used for any subject or theme. I have seen them for fractions, weather, poetry, and historical time periods. What have you used lapbooks for in your classroom? What type of lapbooks would you like to see?
I recently created an author study for Kevin Henkes that results in a lapbook. This lapbook includes foldables for the books Chrysanthemum, Owen, Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse, Sheila Rae the Brave, Chester’s Way, and Wemberly Worried. All lessons, blackline masters, and pictures of examples are included.
Head on over to my TPT store to find the product on sale for $10 this week only!
